Course Overview
The Femap Introduction course introduces FEA users to the Femap Pre & Post processor environment. This course will be delivered live online by an instructor in six four-hour sessions over a period of two weeks. Learn remotely in the comfort of your own home or office.
The Introduction to Femap course introduces novice FEA users to the Femap Pre & Post processor environment. By the end of the class students should have a solid understanding of the finite element analysis process and should be able to: use the Femap environment productively, modify or create geometry that is suitable for meshing, create finite element meshes that are suitable to the application, apply proper loads and boundary conditions, set up and run linear and modal Simcenter Nastran models, post-process and understand output from analysis codes.
