Reverse Engineering: Convergent Local Offset

In this week’s short tutorial we are going to be reviewing local offsets and reverse engineering in Siemens NX 12.

To start off, we will be working with a scanned car model. With the scanned car model, we are going to offset a portion of the hood and use the facet geometry itself. This allows the designer to work more efficiently and reduce the time spent on reverse engineering. View the short video below for the full tutorial.
