Products Effected: D2 Tool Steel v1, H13 Tool Steel v1, and A2 Tool Steel
Markforged announces the end-of-sale & end-of-life for D2 Tool Steel v1, H13 Tool Steel v1, & A2 Tool Steel. These products will no longer being sold.
The last day to order these products is August 30, 2024 or while supplies last.
The next-generation D2 v2 and H13 v2 will replace their v1 predecessors, delivering a superior experience with reductions in print jams, enhanced material handling, and improved storage robustness. A2 applications can be addressed with the new D2 v2 and H13 v2 filaments, which offer a superior experience.
- D2 Tool Steel: Offers higher hardness, wear resistance, and compressive strength than A2, making it ideal for cold work tooling applications.
- H13 Tool Steel: Has higher ductility than A2 and retains its hardness at higher temperatures, making it ideal for hot work tooling applications.
